1. Signing up for an account
Using Gigwish is free, and only requires you to provide a valid email address and year of birth. You can register to the service by signing in with your Facebook account and using its information for creating your Gigwish identity. Before using the service for the first time, be sure to read Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Alternatively, you can create a standalone Gigwish account. While both account types give the same core functionality for managing your wishes, signing in with Facebook adds a social layer for interacting with other users and also allows you to see what artists and bands your friends have wished for and leave them a message on their Gigwish profile page.

2. Linking an existing account with Facebook
In case you have previously registered an account for Gigwish and wish to have more social and feature-rich Gigwish experience, you can link your existing Gigwish account with your Facebook account. You can do this with "linking your Gigwish and Facebook accounts" link found under "My Account", or simply by logging in and using the "Login with Facebook" button. You will need to submit your Gigwish username and password once on the connect account page to complete the process. To enjoy the social features, in future you must login to the site using the "Login with Facebook" button or using the application at Facebook's website.

3. Registration troubleshooting
When registering for Gigwish, you need to provide your year of birth and email address in addition to the username you would like to have on our site. If you are registering an account using Facebook information and Facebook lacks the aforementioned information, you must temporarily add this information to Facebook in order to be able to complete the registration to Gigwish.

4. Login troubleshooting
If the "Login with Facebook" button doesn't work, try refreshing the page. If this won't solve your problem either, you may need to clear your browser cache and cookies before trying to login again.

5. Wishing
Wishing takes place on the "Vote" page, on which you choose the country and city where you would like to see your favorite artists and bands perform. You can wish as many times as you want, but you can't make repeat wishes for a select band to perform at the same location. However, you can share your wishes with your friends and see how many other people share your wish. This way street teams, for example, may conveniently follow how effective their efforts have been.

You can save your city as default choice, so in the future you only need to type in the artists' and bands' names for quick gigwishing. If your city seems to be missing from our list and there are some event organizers / music clubs there, please contact us and we will update our database.
